I live in the South and am travelling to the North for a holiday. What would be the best thing to do in relation to travelling. To hire a car , or to drive my car with a southern registration, would that be safe?
I am planning to travel the whole county, but will avoid the big cities.
Also, if i decide to hire a car, are there places outside airports where i can do that? For example in Enniskillen, or Cookstown?
    Thanks for your help.

I wouldn't see anything wrong with taking your own car. Its a lovely place to visit and hence there would be thousands of southern reg cars in the county each year.

Thanks, that is a help. It would be way more convenient to take my own car.

I cannot find the forum about the North only, see only this one with the subforums and then i have to choose a county.

    North forum.

I suspect you were already on it but you just have to scroll down a wee bit past the county forums to start a thread or read other threads :)
