Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd hate that after spending all that money the indicators never seem to work!

Looks like a toss, you say?

    Depends on the model.

I'd feel like a loss in the compact versions. They're fare quare.

Why would you use indicators in a BMW? Drivers of inferior vehicles should give way to BMWs.

When I got my first BMW I felt a lot safer.

About 10 years ago I had been in a head on collision in my OHs car, he was driving and a car came through a junction at speed and had written off his peugeot 406. We were left very badly shaken, cut and bruised but thankfully nothing broken or permanently damaged.

At the time my car was a renault clio and after that accident I felt like I was driving around in a little death trap. Nothing wrong with the car but my head kept saying "If we were in my car that day, we would have been killed". So within a month or so of the accident I traded in my almost new clio for a 6yr old 318. I felt as if I had a hell of a lot more protection around me and the bonnet was about twice the depth. I haven't had a small car since.

Why would you need a machine to make you feel self-confident? Maybe the lack of indicators gives the driver a feeling of being alive and on the edge as they're taking their life and the lives of others in their hands.

*whizzes past three BMWs in traffic on bike*

I'm sure you'd prefer a boss in a BMW than a boy in a SLK.

    I feel I should clarify, I'm a boss and I drive a BMW.

Ladies, my inbox is already nearly full so when you PM me I expect a hot photo and your phone number.

Is it a relatively old car? Could be wrong (could be very wrong) but did they stop making them in 99/00?

How many BMW car salesmen does it take to change a light bulb?

I'm going to work this out on my calculator, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Going out now in my seat :-)

It's a classic, great-looking car. I have one of the last ones ever made, still completely original. I'm looking for an E46 coupe so I can alternate BMWs every other day.
