Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Brown Sugar stylist recs

    Hi there,

    After some research and lots of humming and ahhing about going to a new hairdresser I've decided to give Brown Sugar a go.

    Never been so wondering if anyone has recommendations for a stylist? Particularly for the cut rather than the colour. The 'senior' stylists are cheaper than the directors so one of those would do please! :)

    Also general opinions of the place are welcome too!

    I'm thinking of trying these guys after a Peter Mark disaster (I should have known better!) but I'm finding it very hard to get a decent hairdresser lately.

    Hi Posy,

    I totally forgot to give you a Brown Sugar update!

    Overall I was really pleased. The results were good - I LOVED the colour and it was nice to get a fresh pair of eyes/scissors on my hair as I was convinced to change my parting and general style of cut. I was pleased and I do plan to go back but it was pricey.

    There are nice touches like a little cupcake on arrival and the offer of a glass of prosecco (although I was careful to say yes to that in case I was charged!). It's a little bit Zoolander but if you strip all the style away I was left with a good cut and colour and in less than 2 hours.

    Will go back!
