Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Buying apps from Google Play without a credit card

    Do you have to use a credit card to purchase apps from Google Play?

    I have tried my Visa Debit card and my Prepaid mastercard (swirl card) and both have been declined. Any ideas?

    Would a virtual credit/debit card work? Never tried it myself so I'm not sure.

    My ulster visa works no hassle, did you set it up on google wallet?

    I use my O2 money card for it with no issues whatsoever.

    Do the prepaid cards need to be validated? eg send a small charge etc etc

    My Visa debit card is with AIB and should be grand so can't figure out why It isnt working. I tried add my swirl card again and seemed to work but didn't go ahead and try and purchase anything since I dont have it topped up. Don't want to top it up if it isn't going to work like

    I have a moneybookers prepaid mastercard and it works no problem.

    O2 money card worked for me as does the new boi visa debit card.

    Btw aib don't have a visa debit card at least not one that's advertised.

    Sorry I meant Bank of Ireland. Anyway I tried use the card today at POS and was declined so must be a card issue.
