What to do in Kenmare + Killarney when it rains??

Staying in Kenmare for the week, looking like it'll be raining for a few days so need ideas on what to do.Drove to Sneem and Killarney today and just strolled around, had lovely lunch .Couldn't see a thing on the drive back to Kenmare through molls gap cos of the clouds and mist which is a pity cos it looks stunning.No point in doing ring of Kerry or the beara ring in this weather , maybe later in the week.So, anyone got recommendations on things for a couple to do around this area in crap weather?!
