    Very fatigued today, had no zip at all. Not really too worried about the misses I only started to wake up by the time I started the cleans. I will be sharper on Friday once I've had a few days to recover. I'll just do some light lifts and powers tomorrow and Wednesday and rest on Thursday.

    Felt really good today pull felt great. Even though I missed 83kg the first time it felt really easy so decided to bump straight to 86kg. First attempt was close. Had it locked out over head on the second attempt but something happened and I ended up dropping the bar on my self. This completely messed me up mentally so I had to strip down and work back up. The single at 83 was solid. No PB today but I think I might get one next week.

    Pretty happy with that, especially after the snatches. Jerks were pretty good. My pull still needs work. Also got a PB total of 196kg. 200 is within reach.

    Yes that's right. It should help me to pull straighter (extend up rather than back) and keep the bar closer. Not using the hook will help develop a smoother and less jerky pull as your grip is limited.

    Doing these as a shoulder exercise more so than a snatch technique exercise. Done from the hang.

    Misses were all very close which is why I kept going. The difference between the misses and makes was driving longer with my legs.

    Missed my last snatch warm up of 79kg so I was happy when I went out and got my opener about 60 seconds later. Got 83kg ok after. 88kg was out n front and was never going over head.

    105kg went up easy enough in the jerk, I actually cu my jerk drive a it short but managed to get under it. 110kg was better. Got 117kg at the end to secure the 200kg total. Clean was as good a clean as I've ever done. Had to walk a bit to save the jerk but got it in the end.

    Thanks to everyone who helped organise and run a good comp and thanks to Edwardius for helping with my warm ups and timings.

    Will take next week off (will just do light lifts with 40/60 to keep things ticking over) which will leave me 4 weeks and a taper until the leinsters. The main thing that needs to improve is my snatch. I'm going to widen my grip a little which I think will help.
