Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I have just ordered some proactiv products.
I ordered the Proactiv Solution 5-Piece Mask System ..

    http://www.proactiv.ie/order.aspx

Personally I thought this was a bargain. I loved that you can pay in 2 installments and that there is a 60 day garauntee. Not so pleased about the 'plan' where they automatically keep sending you products, I just have to be careful there I suppose.

I have had acne for the past 6 years really. It has gotten a lot better in those 6 years, but has varied in it's intensity, if that is the right word, also.
It is not so bad now but I really want to get rid of it once and for all, so I just went for this.
I have tried numerous products. I have taken medication and an anti-bacterial solution from my doctor numerous times with no results.
I also tried Quinederm - the wash and cream. It really did work but my god it was so painful. :o
My skin was dried out and the cream burned so much when applying that I ended up in tears every time, so I decided I would rather acne than that.
Lately I have been using a scrub I make myself of lemon juice and sugar and drinking 30ml of Aloe Berry Nectar twice a day. Although these do work, I often forget to use them every day and I don't see them working in the long run.

So really what I'm aksing is, do you think Proactiv is the solution for me?
And does anybody have any personal experience with these products?
I have heard many goood results, but also some bad.

Also if anyone is interested I may be willing to keep before and after photos, if I'm not too disgusted at myself without makeup. haha.

Hi Bio, I've been using proactiv for years BUT and this is a big BUT, i've been using the american proactiv. It has a different ingredient in it that apparantly isn't allowed on the irish market so in Ireland they replace it with saclycic acid (or however you spell it) I can't rem the ingredient they use in the american one (I'm at work but can check later at home!) My sister has an online account in the U.s and gets it sent to her friends house in the states and then her friend brings it back in bulk when she comes home on holidays.

I'm serious about this but the American proactiv does work, my skin has
cleared up dramatically and i virtually have no sposts on my skin now. the Irish version is rubbish. They try to make it look the exact same but don't be fooled! I've been trying to see if anyone in Ireland imports it or anything but to no avail. Good luck!
