Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iphone 4 or iphone 4s (or just wait)

    Can pick up the iphone 4 for €99 or can get the iphone 4s for €169 - or I can just wait for the next one. Much resale value in picking up either of them in case I do decide to upgrade?

    Personally i'll be waiting to see what the iphone 5 has to offer before buying another phone

    I'd imagine those prices are for upgrade or new customer on bill pay

    Well they said I wasn't entitled to one (can't remember the reasoning :/). Well my phone is dying atm so I need to get a new one - surely once the iphone5 comes out something else will be coming out in less than a year?

    Will I be able to sell on the 4s at a decent price if I do decide to upgrade once 5 is released?

    iPhone's hold their value very well, also depends on how many gb it is

    You might get enough cash to upgrade to the new iPhone - but if you've already signed up for a contract to get the 4S on the cheap won't this preclude you from upgrading again for a year at least?

    Haven't signed up for anything yet. What sort of price would I be looking at for the iphone 5 buying it separately? I'm sure the 4s would be pretty good in the meantime though...

    Word has it that the new iphone5 will have a different and smaller connector which will make all existing docking stations obsolete. Ok I know technology moves on but that annoys me as I don't want to have to ditch the several docking stations i have plus my car charger. That would be why I'd plump for the 4S. My iphone3 is showing its age now though:(
