Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My ipod is activated with 3 computers (1) my old lap top which is in the scrap heap (2) a deathly slow pc and (3) my new laptop. I THINK my ipod is "locked" into my old laptop (as this was the laptop it was originally set up on) as my playlist isn't showing up on either device 2 or 3 ^^^ when i plug in my ipod to 2 & 3 a box pops up to say to "erase & sync - which erases everything off my ipod and replaces it with whats in the iTunes library OR Transfer purchase items which does what it says on the tin" i'm afraid to sync my ipod with the new laptop as i fear i might lose some of my contents (i.e albums i have on there that i can no longer locate the cd's of).

I've tried to access the ipod from my new laptop to back up the music but it only accesses pics, docs, videos - no music. While in iTunes it shows the music on my ipod but its not accessible to iTunes

I want to update the music on my ipod both with purchases from iTunes and ripped CD's without losing what music i already have.

Is there a way around this? If my old lap top was working i could access my account from there to give permissions to my new lap to to access my ipod, but thats not going to happen as the old lap top is dead! There is an option on iTunes when my ipod is connected to my new laptop to "deactive all" devices (i.e. other computers)... if i do this will i lose my current ipod music and/or have to reactive/set up my ipod with the new lap top?????

I'm so confused and have hit a wall with this - i spent 5.5 hours last nite uploading music and trying to sort it out!
