Fair play to Mexico, watched most of the first half and they were quality.

They've not been brilliant all tournament. They looked alright in the group stage but played against really weak teams. In the quarter final against Honduras they got out played for large parts of the game and in truth only won the game due to an extremely harsh red card for Honduras. In the semi final against S.Korea the scoreline didn't reflect that game at all. They could have been one down in the first 20 minutes numerous times and S.Korea had a certain penalty turned down when it was 1-0.

The sheer number of good players they have relative to other teams got them to the final and at times the quality of the players gave some wonderful football but overall they've been very disappointing. Quite a few of the players looked like they weren't giving 100%. I presume a good few of them were quite fearful of injuries.
