Moral of the story there: dole payments are far, far too high.

I hope the government have the balls to realise this come budget time.

I'd hate to meet Finbar in a pub with a few jars on him...

Is there any subject Finbar can't talk about, or isn't a fountain of knowledge on? Boring old fart.

The budget will yet again attack the workers of this country, those that have already given back, the paye worker is the only thing they look at.

To be fair, it is an issue, and it's not fair to dismiss it because they are schoolbooks.

I'm sure those of you who think its a storm in a tea cup would be having a conniption fit if you had upwards of €400 debited from your bank account and nothing to show for it 6 weeks later.
If it was a shop in Dublin I could just pick them up from, it wouldn't bother me at all.

That's completely an aside issue though. Schoolbooks.ie sell themselves as a service that provides and delivers schoolbooks for people who for whatever reason wish to avail of that service.
They have failed spectacularly to provide the service they have already taken money for and if it were my money, I too would be raging.
