    I accept your point, but I don't accept that every pensioner who avails of free travel spends money which benefits their local economy when they go out, nor do I accept that that alone is good enough reason to keep the free travel pass.

    My one liner was a comment about a callers opinion, I was not expecting to engage him in a debate. Once you threw your hat in the ring, getting you to clarify your point or position was like pulling teeth.
