Or, if Mooney gets his hands on this, it'll be the Mary Byrne Bridge (foghorns included).

Actually the Brek Bridge has a ring to it..........

    The Che Guevara Memorial

I like the sound of that. It would be worth it simply because of the type of people who would get most annoyed by it.

"Derek Mooney is next" - the four most dispiriting words you'll hear today.

What about letting GUINNESS have the name of the bridge

it would fit in with the history of the city and the money they would pay for the rights could be donated to building the new childrens hospital

If it's (eventually) the James Connoly Bridge, I wonder which of his greatest living Socialist admirers will be hoping to be there cutting the ribbon? or if not, who knows, making the tea?

'The Diageo Bridge' doesn't have much of a ring to it.

No the cider and heroin bridge would be more appropriate. Dutch golds too sophisticated for the scum that hang around that part of town

The psycho didn't get his photo so he proceeded to follow behind her around town until she finally had to get the guards on his case. What a bitch like.

Maybe he has the wellies on, Ploughing Fair starts today, Joe will probably be delivering the Farm Safety notes during the show. And getting a few tragic tales of those who ended up inside combine harvesters (cue the bailed out puns)

Newstalk this morning featured some coverage of this so expect Joe to indulge his obsession with sue-ih-cyde further this afternoon:

Anyone hear the new Lyons Tea ad based around cliches? I'd say Joe was disgusted and outraged they didn't contact him for an ad based on some of his world-famous puns...
