Fantastic, never heard that, thank you! :)

It was a funny day alright. My favourite line was when Joe asked "is that your real voice?" :D

I'd love if one day he asked that very question of a salt-a-dee-eirth person.

You're owed a quarter of a million? Best of luck getting that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,730 ✭✭✭europa11

"What type of debt collector?" obviously not one wearing a balaclava

Why ask anyway Joe? Not going to make any difference to you, you'll never see one.

I had THREE onto me this morning looking for €49 that's 2 days late, will I give Woe Duffy a call? ;)

I find Joe hilarious, his disdain for debt collectors. If they are fully licensed then they are legal. Doubt Joe will be able to get rid of them like he did with legal head shops.

This is some kind of a joke I assume? Sligojoek, please reply and tell me this is a joke.

If its not a joke, I am writing to complain.

No joke. It was on at about 13.05. Just after the headlines. Syl Fox et al will be there too.

Jesus christ, Joe really does love misery. He could get tears here, clamps are out.
Although, funny friday is still the most depressing show of the month.

Do and say the boardsies told you to ring.

Swear the cheek of them, "and can you give me a reason why it's late" says yer man in customer "care". I had forgotten about it. "please make sure to pay your bills in a timely manner" he says.
I'm 35 and I felt like I was getting a dressing down from a teacher.

What is up with the misery! I now seriously think the savage eye version of joe is a fly on the wall documentary

Really is it too much to ask for a LIVELY liveline?
    Once...maybe even twice a week?

Absolutely, ESP with adult children where any control you may have is completely relinquished.
    It's just AWFUL.

That being said I'm sick of listening to it on liveline, it's been done to death with no positive outcome. Just Woe loving the misery fest.

Yes, very true and sometimes there is no answer and sadly no solution to some of the conditions
