    My Father came from Cuba.

C'mon, Joe, don't forget that BAI judgement. Get Mrs.McRanty back on for a bit of balance like a good man, so she can tell us once again how perfect Cuba is.

Joe has notions on the relevance of a statue in Galway, I somehow doubt it was discussed at governmental level over there.

Because Joe reckons this is a topic the whole of Ireland is talking about, that's whoiy.

Finger on the pulse right enough.

This is like the shipping forecast. I didn't realise I was still listening as I had totally tuned out. To be honest, this is just making me want to visit Cuba more than ever.

Interesting that the Cuban ambassador is quick to come on while in January the HSE couldn't reply to the accusations made against it due to a shortage of time.

Oh I'd love to. Friends went a few years ago and had a brilliant time. I couldn't go due to lack of funds. I'll get there eventually.

Even just to hear the Cuban Liveline Funny Friday!

Do Doctors have to be paid well?
Is the water in Galway Clean?
Does the Irish Government over pay Doctors?
Is it not the usual party line of any government that the opposition are people who can't agree on anything? while the government keeps the status-quo regardless of election promises?

Cuba is probably not the best country, economy or political system in the world. But then we really can't say if Ireland is the best country, economy or political system in the world.

Liveline is not the place for this discussion.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 18,184 ✭✭✭✭Lapin

Actually the Cuban Liveline is probably more democratic than the Irish one.

  • Registered Users Posts: 43,028 ✭✭✭✭SEPT 23 1989

Can we do a swap for Cuban Joe?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,184 ✭✭✭paulaa

Who is that clown with the American accent that keeps slipping ? He is very rude and ignorant to the Ambassador.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,721 ✭✭✭sudzs
