    Hang on a second its the tobacco industry killing people?

    I was under the impression that smoking was a concious choice by individuals or is there no personal responsibility here at all.

    I think it's just ridiculous... Either ban it if you want to ban it, or just allow people to smoke.. Any thing else is just mealy mouthed..

    I worked in a shop and one guy used to come in and the only packet he would take was the smoking may cause a reduction in sperm count or w'e that box is. It used to be funny turning round after searching through the packs desperatly trying not to laugh in his face

    I do feel sorry for this woman and what she went through but I don`t think its Joe Duffy she should be calling

    Not sure why she had to go to a solicitors, I went to my local peace commissioner who provided the the affidavit there and then for 7.50€
