Thanks..no problem with the girl and her achievment is top drawer..but the hysteria is a bit over the top..just cant be bothered listening to the same interview and answers on every channel..

I'm inclined to agree. Nothing wrong with celebrating Katie's success but there is a rick of sending it into overkill territory now.

That taxi firm using her name on the radio ads is really taking the píss.

I'm also getting sick of people using stupid 50 shades of grey puns at every opportunity recently. They're neither clever nor funny.

    Why not?

Perhaps if the money was spent on researching locked in syndrome rather then battling a man that wanted to die through the courts, they might be some way to a cure. Doesn't mean that he wouldn't have died or have wanted to die in the meantime.

  • Registered Users Posts: 43,028 ✭✭✭✭SEPT 23 1989

    I bloody knew it

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,774 ✭✭✭Big Daddy Cool

whats this woman looking for, i bet its money towards a new car, or an entitlement as some might look at it, as it was'nt her fault

if you knew anything about the syndrome itself..you would know that there is nothing that can be done...thats why the man wanted to kill himself.

so pumping more and more money into it would be futile.

the father of the girl was obviously in denial but rte dont give a toss and put him on air to entertain us..

do i have to explain anymore?
