(ret?Judge) Michael Patwell was boasting about his input to the RSA as a member of some advisory committee or other

Patwell was complaining to Charlie Bird that he only saw 2 Garda cars on his trip from Cork to Dublin yesterday afternoon

Patwell wants Garda cars all over our Motorways

now you have some insight into why the RSA is an ass

(we all know Motorways are where road deaths are occurring most )

Interesting to finally get a shrill male caller.

  • Registered Users Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

How much did this chap pay? I didn't hear him the first 10 times he mentioned the figure.

  • Registered Users Posts: 43,028 ✭✭✭✭SEPT 23 1989

Damien can't handle this caller he is only getting him more annoyed:D

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,425 ✭✭✭telekon

Damian's not sure if he bought a property in the past 10 years. Must be on the same wages as Joe to forget about all his properties.

Didnt mind paying it at the time... I hope somebody who was speaking to him "at the time" can ring in and verify that... I'd doubt he was happy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Didn't mind paying at the time but rings up to complain years later.

Some old woman living in her massive inherited damp house, in the middle of nowhere, on her pension, is gonna get absolutely screwed by this tax.

Boring, whiney voice. I don't care what she thinks. Off with her head! ;)

There's no real equitable way of coming up with a fair property tax. The next few months should be fun.

Sensible really, she should downsize to a nice warm cottage/apartment in a secure complex
