    What an awful upbringing. His mother was like something off the wire. I will never disrespect him again. Amazing man. Such love for his mother even after all the wrongs she did.

    Not doubting the severity of his upbringing but he'a not the nicest guy in the world off the court by all accounts. His ex-wife gave an interview on some chat show I saw in the US a few years ago and she was not exactly singing his praises. Throw in his "I want to be paid to play in the Olympics" musings, not to nention his tantrums and cheap shots on court and you get a playboy who clearly has forgotten his roots.
