Sorry to be dragging up an old thread, but it seemed most relevant to my dilemma. I lodged a euro cheque in my sterling bank account on Monday and it was sent off for "negotiation". Sorry to be dragging up an old thread, but it seemed most relevant to my dilemma. I lodged a euro cheque in my sterling bank account on Monday and it was sent off for "negotiation". I know that this will take longer than a sterling-sterling cheque to clear but I've been told that it is surprising that it is not showing in any form in my account - so now I'm concerned that it's gone astray or something! Any thoughts?

As per the charter, please don't drag up old threads from years ago.

On point: not reaally enough information for folks to tell - a lot will depend on the bank in question and how they handle such things.
