    Hi,

I am in the market for a 46+ tv. Generally considering LED at the moment. Budget is flexible but thinking in the £800-£1200 bracket.

Research/reviews have put me onto the Sony KDL-46HX853. I was originally looking at the Samsung UE46ES6710 & 6800. Couple of questions please.

    1) anything else I should be considering instead in this price range?

    2) if I decided on the Sony is there anything you can do? I am London based if that matters? Your price is almost identical to amazon which is great however I can get it next day delivery from them with amazon prime which is stupid convienient

Will prob drop into one of stores tomorrow for a look anyway.

    Thanks in advance.

    Woden

    Hi Woden.

    Thanks for the post.

The only other screen to look at would be the LG 47LM670T which is a great screen.

It's a 5* What Hifi award winner and comes in at £1099.95.

This is a 400Hz screen, smart, 3D 47" and comes with the LG BH6220S home cinema system.

This is a passive 3D screen unlike the Sony and the Samsung which means that the glasses are not as expensive as the other 2 and the screen comes with several pairs in the box.

Here is a review of the LG. http://www.whathifi.com/review/lg-47lm670t

This would be my choice of the 3 in the running, especially as the LG's also have a free 3D camcorder as well as the home cinema system.

I hope this helps, but if we can help with anything else, please let us know.

    Many thanks

    Dave

Thanks Dave I ended up picking up the Sony on Saturday after dropping into the Holburn store and reading round some more. Happy with it so far!

Might be in the market for a 32 for the bedroom at some point if so I'll be in touch.

Also bought a 46HX853 recently. The reviews for it compared to the LG are fantastic, better smart functionality and LG's passive 3D (standard definition 3D) just doesn't cut it. I would have been tempted by the 3D camcorder but it's made by some company called DXG that I haven't heard of before.
