    Most guys on the irish circuit seem to be guard players a lot of the time and I was just wondering what everyone's favourite form of guard is ie closed guard , de la riva, 50/50, spider etc ?

    Double Butterfly guard. Easiest to get to my favourite positions.
    Love X- guard and playin around with De La Riva quite a bit. Give some people bother but the shouter stockier guys seem to just smash right through it

    Definitely De La Riva, Reverse De La Riva and Knee shield HG. But I also love closed guard.

    I like to use the sit up guard, del a riva and closed guard. I play mostly for sweeps though.
