Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    How does this guy have so much influence. Would someone this overtly biased and right wing have any place in the Irish media?
    RUSH: Have you heard this new movie, the Batman movie, what is it, The Dark Knight Lights Up or whatever the name is. That's right, Dark Knight Rises. Lights Up, same thing. Do you know the name of the villain in this movie? Bane. The villain in The Dark Knight Rises is named Bane, B-a-n-e. What is the name of the venture capital firm that Romney ran and around which there's now this make-believe controversy? Bain. The movie has been in the works for a long time. The release date's been known, summer 2012 for a long time. Do you think that it is accidental that the name of the really vicious fire breathing four eyed whatever it is villain in this movie is named Bane?

    One presumes he doesn't know that Bane has been a Batman villian long before Mitt ever decided to lace up his expensive boots and take a run at the oval office

    Rush Limbaugh being retarded is hardly newsworthy anymore, after he plateaued with calling that woman campaigning for wider condom distribution a slut and made that creepy remark about wanting to watch her naked online.

    He just can't top it.

    Why is he so popular? Well, that fact can be just put down to...it's America.

    Ironically, since the release, Nolan has been taking a lot of flak for TDKR being extremely right wing in its message. Limbaugh is a more ignorant, bombastic and widely followed George Hook. But people will listen to him simply because they want to believe these things. Logic and rationale do not come into the equation just the same as it doesn't come into the equation for some Irish politicians and voters when reenforcing their political opinions.
