Can i get a micro sim for my iphone when i move to the states for a year?

I have an iphone 4 thats unlocked to any network, Can i buy a micro sim for my phone when i move to the states and use it normally? Would it be better if i got a year long plan or pre paid? Which is the best carrier for this? Thanks

You can def us it prepaid,just go into at+t and you can get one straight away.The data plan will cost you alot though.I doubt you could get a contract phone as you don't have a credit rating in the U.S.Here a credit rating is everything and without one you won't get anything.
