Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
Not sure if i am posting in the right section but here goes.
My friend asked me to set up her apple tv. Her tv is a few years old so has no HDMI connection. Is there a converter I can get? Ive been trawling through ebay and cant find anything, but I am sure I am searching under the wrong thing. Whats the exact name of the cable I should buy?

No simple cable will do that job.
HDMI is all digital , there are no analog signals on the line.

There are plenty of scammers on Ebay and Third party sellers on amazon selling cheap HDMI to analog cables which dont and cannot possibly work.
This is a con job , should you wish to return the item , you must pay for postage , and this costs more than the item , thats the business model. Dont fall for this fraud.

The only way to convert HDMI to Analog is with devices like the HD fury , and they are very expensive. ( They also must remove the HDCP content protection which is illegal in a lot of countries )

Make/model of the TV would help. Might it have a DVI port ?
