Belgium - Best value prepay (for smart phone)

I'm going to be in Belgium for a few months and I have been browsing around for a pre-pay mobile operator to use while I am there.

They seem to have just three infrastructure-owning operators : Base (KPN), Proximus (Belgacom) and Mobistar (Orange).

There are a good few MVNOs too but I can't seem to find any that offer anything even remotely comparable to the offers on Emobile or Three, particularly for data.

It seems a bit like Irish rates about 5 years ago. I know we moan about our rates being higher than the UK but clearly the Irish market's a lot more competitive than elsewhere. I found Spain a bit like that too with really steep data rates and relatively expensive national rates too.

Any suggestions? I don't really want to be gouged for data with my Android phone.

In Belgium, voice and text are actually relatively cheap. You do get stung, and I mean stung on data though, like you see plans for 20 mb of data for 10 Euro ect

I always found BASE to be overly expensive and not even worth the thought.
Mobistar are ok, 25 euro gives you 5000 texts, free facebook, twitter and 200 mb. No bigger. (http://www.mobistar.be/fr/offre/mobile/cartes-rechargeables/tempotribe)

The best is Belgacom(proximus) http://www.belgacom.be/onetelco/be-en/catalogue-topic/t_mob_subscribers_otc_dup_1.page? Internet on GSM. 15.99 a month for a gig. (Note, Meteor is 5 for a gig and 15 for 15 gigs). I think it's called comfort.

I noticed that aswell actually. Few sneaky terms and comditions to look out for, what with credit running out but they're probably who I'll go with. Do you know who they piggyback on? I spend most of my time in Wallonia or Brussels so would need one of the ones with better coverage.
