Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have my itunes library on my laptop and my ipod nano running off this. I have just bought an ipod classic, as there just was not enough room on the nano for my collection. I want to use both ipods, I want to use the nano for when Im out and about, so more active music, and the classic for when Im home, for my big classical music library.
How do I add the Classic to my itunes library without doing any damage to my existing ipod nano or my itunes library?
the guy in the shop that I bought it from (PC World) said that you can not have more than one device running so that I would need to create a seperate user ID on my laptop, is this correct?
    Help!

No he's wrong. If it was me I'd jut check the box that says manually manage music in iTunes for both iPods. I'm sure there's an easier way and someone will be able to advise you later.

When you connect the ipod to itunes a summary page should appear for that ipod, scroll down a bit and there should be a box with manually manage music and videos beside it.

What i do is use playlists. One for my smaller iPod and one for the bigger iPod. I synchronise only the playlist i want to each iPod, although i usually sync both playlists to the bigger one.

very easy to do through iTunes.

Although i then starting using dynamic playlists and created one for all songs with 3* or greater. I gave my favorite songs 3 stars and they all synchronised to the smaller iPod. I also created a 2* or greater list which has more songs so fills up the bigger iPod.

This way whenever i add a new song i can set the rating and it will automatically sync with iPod next time i connect, no need to worry about dragging it to a playlist.
