Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was walking down the street last Friday night and found €50 just lying there on the pavement. There was nobody around, so it wasn't going to be possible to return it. I was with my Dad at the time and we promptly entered the nearest restaurant and drank it. You have to spend these things quickly, they are a gift from the other world to be used rashly and it angers the Gods if you insult their amused largesse with thankless frugality.

Spend it at once OP! Ere you should anger the Gods!

I would get a full body massage @ 50 euro for an hour and the rest on clothes

Almost like what I'd do - full body massage @ 50 euro for an hour and the rest on......a happy ending ;)

I'd probably throw it in the jar with the rest of the small change.

On a side note, which is on topic ..

    In fact ... ;)

I'm taking the missus and kids down to Kerry for a few days next week so probably just spend it during that, maybe a boat trip out to see Fungi and a trip to the Aquadrome or something...

I'd pay off my bills and bring the family on a holiday to Disneyland. Then I would give the rest to the family and to charity

That's what I would say if I was the stereotypical boring lotto winner. Really I'd just blow it on booze and gambling

Well, I wouldn't do what Ted Walsh's advice anyway thank fcuk.

Not sure if anyone here seen it but he actually told people live on air during the Galway Racing coverage to get the money from under their mattresses and out of the bank as Weld's horse would win the last.

My landlord's gonna be furious

Anyone listening to Ted Walsh (or indeed Dermot Weld) needs their head read!

If Ted told me the sky was grey out today I'd still have to take a look for myself!

I would get a Ryanair special max e30 spend on a ticket out of this rainey miserable mess & sit naked in the sun somewhere for 3 days.

The rest would go on sunburn cream & a few beers.

100 packs of Marlboro Red and 200 bottles of beer.

And if you were buying them in a shop in Ireland you'd be short of approximately €850.

    It's €250 not €2500!

I would waste it one 50 euro at a time.
I would make a small purchase with each note and once they were broken the remaining 30 or 40 euro would disappear.
