How do I stop the little notification thingy...

Any time theres a reply to something I get this little number 1 thing beside my name and its really annoying, is it possible to turn it off?

Go there, go to "Default Thread Subscription Mode", then set it to "Do not follow".

Go to there then, and click each thread and click the "Unfollow" button on the upper left above the first post.
