Getting tired of the old scenic Bus Eireann boneshakers.

Anyone know of any private bus operators running on weekend returns to Cashel in Tipp?

Every bus I know about is in here: http://www.galwaytransport.info/2008/12/regional-bus-services-burkes-run-daily.html (It's a bit ugly, I'm working on a re-formatted version, no content changes though).

None doing that route off the top of my head.

And if someone else knows of one, I'd love to hear details.

There used to be one that went from Galway - limerick - tipp - cahir - clonmel - fethard. Not quite Cashel, but close.

It stopped about 5 years ago because the numbers fell off dramatically during hte boom. Every college student started buying a car. They ran a fairly cheap service. You could always give them a ring and let them know you are interested in a bus to south Tipp. With people feeling the pinch financially, I'd imagine more people would start taking buses again.

JJ Kavanaghs run a college season bus that goes all over the county in a random order. You often have to change buses half way. They go as far as Thurles, not sure if they go further, or closer to Cashel.
