Hello! Would anyone know how far Hazel Park is from the train station? Or how much I'd be expecting to pay for a taxi?

it's 4ish km, depending on traffic a taxi may be €8-10

It's very walkable on nice day- just go through the Hospital grounds

I think the 404 bus goes that direction, you can catch it on the main road, I don't think it goes that often (something like every 45 minutes during the week) but it's a relatively handy run down the Newcastle Road and drops you off directly in Eyre Square right beside the train station. If you haven't used the bus before I think it only costs €1.70 wherever you are.
