Best way to search for files on phone?

I currently have two options if I want to search for a specific item on my phone. I can use google search, which is crap, or I can use ES File manager, which is extremely slow, and doesn't find the file I'm looking for (and I know it's there). Is there a better way to search for files? I can't seem to find an app dedicated…

Solid explorer should work, it's even faster once it's completed indexing. The other option is connect to a pc and use a file search

I would recommend Solid Explorer too,found it's the best. A lot of others misbehave, in my opinion
