Yeah, kitty is beautiful - she was a bit more cute about 2 weeks ago, kinda going through a growing phase. I've turned into one of these people mad about their cats

Walked up to the shop just one crutch, was talking to someone for nearly 10 mins as well, brother didn't notice how long I was gone at all.

bubblefett - Congratulations on your interview! :D

Links - Love the shoes, they're gorgeous! :D

rebel girl - Cute kitten! :D

javagal - Welcome back javagal, glad you and baby Coffeebean are doing well.

And hugs for everyone who needs them!

Back home now. I'm absolutely wrecked. Could have to do it all again tomorrow though. Dad will probably be in the hospital for the weekend. Didn't get to see a doctor. He could have permanently blurred vision in the eye but he'll be fine.

Feeling bad for all the sick and unwell and sad people in here.
RG, I would help if I could, it's not nice to be laid up like that, especially when you're normally so active. Your kitty is adorable though.

Links, glad you're doing better. Shoes always help :)

PP, if you think your Pill is affecting your mood, tell your boyfriend that (and the others that mentioned to you about your mood) and ask them to try be understanding. And yes maybe go to the doctor. But with college, and your issues with your mother, it seems to me it'd be perfectly understandable to be worked up.

WS, sounds like you've a rough day ahead, but well try just keep in mind it's just the one day, and it'll be over before you know it.

Javagal, good to see you're enjoying it all :)

I'm quite looking forward to tomorrow, and my weekend. I'm going swimming with my boyfriend, going out saturday night, doing lots of fun things with him :D Kind of looking at holidays too, though I really shouldn't spend the money. Nothing in August seems to be too cheap though.

Yeah I've told him but my moods have been really bad, I've been teary and down in the last 3 - 4 months too so I think a GP visit is a good idea. Been having a bit of an issue with some irregular bleeding. Not every month though but I think getting a check up would be wise.

Actually talking of college, I got word today that my application for BTEA was successful. If I get my fee grant I'm sorted. :)

That's true. It should be great for me I think. Fingers crossed the grant people are nice and realise that I really want to do this course. :)

Been thinking about joining the gym if it doesn't cost too much. Next week I'll have to sort out somewhere to live. Was going to do it this week but then everything happened yesterday.

Maybe check to see if your college has a gym/gym deals before you sign up to anything, a lot of gyms are 12 month contracts but it'll do you no good if you're living away half the time. Or see if they have a pay as you go programme til you find out what's happening? Best of luck finding somewhere to live, that'll be exciting!!

Blistering headache, just went to take nurofen.

Pro tip: If taking painkillers with hot coffee, don't do that cooling slurpy sipping thing with them in your mouth, for they will drop into your drink and dissolve.

The idea of painkilling coffee is a sweet one though!

Window shopping on eBay. So many wants. This has been on my watch list for MONTHS. I needs it because of reasons. (It goes with my faux leather trench)

There also a gorgeous halterneck top on lovehoney that I'm debating about buying. Might treat myself next week if there's anything left after getting my ears pierced...

Watching women's beach volleyball - one of the British girls is chewing something, which I presume is gum, number one its dangerous to do so, but number 2, you are diving around in sand, which will end up getting in your mouth, yuck!!!

On my lonesome in the house again!

This morning I put lovely fresh, white clean bedsheets on my bed.
Tonight, I gave myself about forty coats of fake tan, walked into my bedroom and went "oh, bollocks".

Long story short, I'm now in a sleeping bag. The things we do for beauty!!

For me it's the fifties, love the clothes.

    I had the freakiest evening.

Was out to go to dinner and this guy stopped me in the street asking where I could find a locksmith, I've no chuffing idea so I told him so. He then asked me for my number, I spent the rest of my trip looking around to see if he was following me.

Then I got back to the apartment and was having my nightly chat with the OH when the doorbell went, and it was the Mormons wanting to convert me!!

Took about 15 mins to get rid of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They always feck off straight away for me. You must have a persistent bunch in your neck of the woods. Here, they wander about dejected with their little white name tags and backpacks. I feel kind of sorry for them and their immaculately coiffed hair.

I just yelped really loudly. Got the feeling that something was moving in the corner of my vision, glanced at the kitchen window and...STEALTH KITTY!

He jogged on when I screeched. I wonder how long he was sitting there watching me make faces at a story I'm trying to edit into something readable...

Flowing skirts with boots and dancing with boobs out at Woodstock after dropping an acid tab while connecting with the music at a visceral level? Yes please! After that I'll fly to London, watch Taste open for Cream while wearing the most glorious boots known to man and be chatted up by a chiseled jawline with flowing locks and stubble that hadn't been manicured but brought about from four days of partying that's continuing onto a Monday that's going to end walking to Waterloo station while singing The Kinks!

    I ****ing love the sixties.

I love the sixties clothing. On the one hand you have American hippies for the day time look and when you don't give a ****. Natural clothing that's loose and comfortable but still has a distinct style. Then you have London with mini-skirts and patterned dresses with full colour boots and really styled hair. But really I love the sixties because it was so indulgent and hedonistic. But a good form of hedonism, knowing that you would be most happy when the people around you were happy. That you could share in an anything goes, any time, any where, and I will be there for you and you will be there for me when we're both off our heads on the newest drugs on the face of the earth. Or even when we're both out of our skins from listening to the most revolutionary music that has ever been heard. And we have a positive hopeful future!

I told these guys I was agnostic and they were all agog to recruit me.

I then told them I was over for work for a few weeks and wouldn't be back and they lost their fervour.

The OH suggested telling them I was a Catholic nun on vacation :D

We haven't had any religious crews coming here for a while! Someone please cut off my knee - now I know why they gave me the stronger painkillers - gonna find some paracetamol and hope for the best :(

I think the nun on vacation idea is great :D Had another call tonight looking for the Dublin traffic section of the city council, we must have an IP based number as well as our own number, and it was that one they were calling!

Haven't had any attempts to convert us for a while. The last time, my dad invited the Jehovah's Witness guy in (!) and they had a grand chat in the living room. I wandered past and thought, feck it, I'm game for a laugh and went in and sat down.

I debated his points, one at a time, and he got to the "but if there's no god, how do you explain the beautiful trees and flowers...?" bit. I go "isn't nature amazing?" and he goes "..no.."

Gave up trying to convert him back into reality at that point.

A little jack russell has been hanging around our farm for the past couple of days, she seems very shy although loves our two dogs, and they are besotted with her. My dad says we can't keep her, but, he's been feeding her, petting her, and has even made up her own bed for her. We are going to try and find where she belongs because we suspect she is pregnant, and is obviously a well cared for and loved dog, but for now, I am enjoying having 3 dogs. The world seems like a much brighter place with more animals.
