Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well it depends. Are coke and hookers a necessity and therefore a bill or are they a luxury and therefore classed as lesiure.

Hmmm, I'll get back to you on that.

I would be scared to work it out - it would probably be -300 or so.... I pay as much as I can each week/month whilst trying not to rob Peter too much to pay Paul

Wasn't this asked a few weeks ago?

About €200, but it all goes in the savings.

    In before three fiddy

Honestly, between 100 - 200, depending on what bills crop up. Car tax, ESB and Gas always seem to arrive around the same time, and I never budget for it, even though I know it's coming.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,192 ✭✭✭Sound of Silence

I'll usually have about €250 to play around with each week.

Then again I'm a bit young to have any major bills to worry about.

    The joys of youth!

Edit: But I could get fired at any time.. Cut throat place to work.

220 Euro, give or take after rent, bills, food.

When I was unemployed and at home, I received 186 Euro per week but I mostly bought my own food and contributed to bills. So, even though my pay is low, I'm a good deal better off than then. Even if I wasn't though, I would MUCH rather be working.

EDIT: Sorry, 170 Euro a week, forgot about what I put by for savings.

You know what drives me spare ? These people that say "Oh I have nothing left for myself, I'm broke after the bills are paid". Then you ask them what they do with the money and turns out hundreds goes into savings accounts an thrift funds.

Your not broke you just dont want to spend it !!

350 maybe? I have no dependants, pay cheap rent and share my shopping and bills with one other so my regular outgoings don't account for much.
I save almost all of it, I spend a lot of the rest on stuff for work that I probably shouldn't be paying for at all and I have a social life with a curfew :D

I'm bemoaning the infrequency of the installments of my income, not my maths ability. Thanks, though!

I save 175 a week now.. but don't have kids or anything.. paid my debts off.. for years I held down two jobs and lived off 40 quid a week for food, going out, clothes transport coz was in bad debt and was just as happy tho

My monthly spend approx 700 mortgage, 200 food/bills, 120 diesel

Bring own lunch to work, pay gym 50 euro.

If I need car taxed or big bills use savings.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,400 ✭✭✭Medusa22

I'm on disability benefit for CF (188 euro a week), I have about 25 euro left after bills etc and no money to put towards savings. I'm supposed to be better off than people that are working though, aren't I? ;)
