Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's also people on our forum complaining that it says Rovers v Sligo, even though we have done the same f*cking thing on our posters (Rovers v Shams/Shamrock).

    Some proper idiots around.

You're based in Dublin, we are based in Sligo. South Dublins population is 4 times the size of County Sligo, and getting to games is a lot easier for the 200k+ people of South Dublin then it would be for at least 35k of ours as you have public transport going all over the city. To pull in an average attendance of around 2,400, with all the fixture moves we have had (only 3 games in our regular Saturday night slot), and considering the population of Sligo town is only 19k, is very respectable.

Also, 3,400 average attendance for you, which is not double. That would be 4,800.

We had a similar drive for the derby game at the end of the '09 season, something we should have done more often at the time

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

According to fool.ie which of course is a hotbed of pro-rovers support. It averaged around 4k last season. Our attendances are very decent for the derbies and bigger games but spoiled by games against clubs with no traveling, or indeed, just low support.

Anyway, I actually admire Sligo's attendances which as a percentage of the town population are off the scale for LOI but it's pathetic and small time to see any LOI supporter laughing at clubs trying to do promotion and advertising.

Most attendances are given by the clubs own fans or extratime now. So I trust it to be somewhat accurate.

Don't pass any heed, some of our fans have got seriously cocky recently. We got knocked out of a cup two days ago and all you see if people talking about how it is a sh*t cup and they are happy to be out of it. It wasn't sh*t in 2010 when 4,000 people turned out for the final.
