Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Proper filing from a manicure

The last couple of times I've had my nails done, the filing was always "let's keep the shape we have" and a rough few strokes of a file, leaving my nails uneven!

I'd like to go, and have them filed to match, so that they are neat looking - I am purely useless at doing it myself being honest.

Can anyone recommend a good manicurist in the city centre, that won't charge me a small fortune? I want the short, square neat variety, as I do have a decent nail bed and when painted they look quite good.

    Thanks in advance

I went to Revive Express on Dawson Street and had a lovely manicure a couple of weeks ago - they have a drop-in service but recommend booking for busy periods like lunchtime. File and polish is €20 which is pretty standard.

My nails are soft and brittle but I was very happy with the squoval shape she gave to my nails, and afterwards invested in a Leighton Denny crystal nail file that I've used to keep the shape ever since.

Thank you I'll check them out :)
I have some strong nails, and some brittle ones - my right hand is the worst, and both forefingers! I have a crystal file actually but I hate using it for some reason, though I do believe it is better than emery boards!
