Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi i want to buy a dress on ebay but i cant do so with my maestro laser card.

    Does anybody know if you can, please let me know as i dont have a credit card

    I use Paypal but it takes a few days to transfer the money from my Bank Account to my Paypal Account so I'd always have to make sure I have funds in Paypal before I buy something on Ebay as other-wise I'd have to be waiting a few days for the money to go from my Bank to Paypal. But it's doable. In fact, I don't think Ebay generally advise using Credit Cards anyway, but I think a lot of Ebay Sellers/Shops do accept cards though so that works for people who don't have Paypal. You could try one of those pre-paid top-up-with-cash Money-cards that a few Companies are offering now for buying stuff online. They are pretty handy too, but just make sure first they are accepted. For eg. The Payzone one can be used to book Hotels, but it can't be used on the Paddy Power Website for security reasons or something-or-other, - they need an "official" right Credit-Card or so they say.

    I had a Maestro Laser card and they are totally useless on the internet. Practically nowhere accepts them, only Asos does really and random Irish sites. You can't use it on ebay.

    I changed bank to get a Visa debit card, and you can get a Paypal account with that. You can use the PayPal account to buy things on ebay, it's easier.

    I don't think laser cards were really meant to ever be used on sites like eBay, considering they're linked to your current account I'm glad. get an o2 money card maybe?? its a prepay credit card,you can use it everywhere.
