Dam removal/Space Tim Lapse (very cool vids)

The first is a dam being retired, essentially a river blowing out of it and cutting down into the land. It's fairly amazing to see. The second is stars wheeling above but if you're a bit nerdy at all I think you'll like. Link to the cracked article at the bottom for one or two more vids.…

The dam video is cool, especially the bit above the dam, amazing just how much sediment was left behind. You'd wonder how long it'll be before it's safe to walk down to the river with all that loose mud.
