Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Its the first game of the season with nowhere near your first team.
Those lads are well into their season,at home and looking for a big upset.
It was never going to be a cakewalk.

True but believe it or not there is only three first team players missing.

    henderson for me, absolutely useless.

Nice play Sterling. Hope he can do that again given the chance.

This is the perfect time for Stirling. Playing against a 'lesser' team who have broken their collective bollocks chasing down and pressuring Liverpool throughout, so much so that they've run themselves into the ground. Now he can run at them, stretch them and punish them.

At the time I posted it was you're best goalkeeper, best defender, best midfielder(now on) and best forward.

Henderson may as well not have been on the pitch but Stevie for me has been a serious detriment. Out of position constantly, hollywood passes not coming off, sloppy back paces. Hope this isn't a sign of whats to come from him. For those who say we dont need another cm, tonight was pretty strong evidence we do!

A win, thats all that matters

remember a similar performance under rafa in riga or vilinuis

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,655 ✭✭✭El Inho

regardless of performance...a win is a lift...mindset, get the ball rolling and several other clichés....im going back to being a positive liverpool fan.

    reasons:

cole got injured so he can't play (sucks we cant sell him on though)
    in turn sterling played
    lucas got a knock...
it wasnt in anyway serious and he hopped back up
downing has matched last seasons score tally for himself already

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,836 ✭✭✭Sir Gallagher

Poison but it's early days, i think it would be foolish to be expecting any noticable style of play from this group of players at this stage. My main concern at this moment in time is what the hell we're playing at in the transfer market.
