I own a 2005 Daewoo Kalos (rebadged to Chevrolet)

I had to get a crankshaft sensor replaced lately and my mechanic had trouble finding the part but eventually found it in Belfast
He told me that Chevrolet and Daewoo have basically pulled out of the european market and as a result the only parts you can get are what's left on the shelf?

Is this fully correct and if so would I be better of selling/trading in the car before I need more parts?

    Thanks in Advance.
