I'm going to be starting final year in September, and I was basically wondering what options are open to me regarding postgraduate jobs. I will probably do my internship in Ireland and I am wondering if anyone has any information regarding training in other countries after internship.

I was specifically thinking about either Germany or Australia. I would also be interested if anyone has any information about training in Germany plus level of german required for starting out.

Also, what are my options if I decide to come back to Ireland after a few years. Is it frowned upon at interviews etc.

    Thanks in advance

You can apply for training posts in Germany after internship is completed; training is linked more to the hospital, and you need to register in the state you want to train in. You basically need to contact the hospital or program director more or less directly to express your interest. You need B2 level German (completed by certification; e.g., TestDaF or Goethe Zertifikat B2)
