Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Think about it. Insurance for moters for examples is actually madated by law, among other forms. Insurance law proves that slavery never really went away, the paramaters and definitions were changed, but the fundamentals are still there. Stupid choices, black or white, orange or green, but you cannot not have insurance. Isn't this a trait of institutional slavery?

Far worse than bankers. Especially Actuaries. These people are modern day slavemasters. Insurance is in the business of selling premiums, not paying out claims unless they absolutely have to. Not even the bankers and the Politicians are as bad as these guys. They are practically invisable:o

Bit harsh IMO. If you exercise your right to drive without insurance and you crash into my hypothetical 120k audi, were both going to be in a lot of bother. I think car insurance is necessary, we should be required to have at least 3rd party insurance to drive. Your argument would be right if we were forced to drive in the first place and then forced to buy insurance.

Insurance companies are in the business of making money. They'll do what they can get away with. Regulation and competition is what we need more of.

aw, did someone not pay out your claim?

Well, speaking as an awfully evil actuary, if you don't want motor insurance - get rid of your car
