My friends are in work, some are away, others are hungover from last night.

Maybe head to the gym or workout at home. You'll feel much better for it rather than forcing a night out and getting messy. You could then act as a criminal mastermind vigilante hero by night in the future what with being ripped and all. That would stave off the boredom.
