Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In the US, if you smash the screen or something at your fault, you can walk into a Apple Storeand get a replacement for $150/$200, is that available here? If it is, how would you go about it because there's no official Apple Store :( Also, what about if you're in the US with your Irish iPhone and it breaks, can you book an appointment with a genius and get a replacement?

    Thanks :D

I think you can get a replacement for €211, you get it replaced by courier

How would you about it? And would it be a refurb? :)

    Thanks

Contact apple, I'd say it's replaced with a refurb

When i smashed my iPhone 4 screen I was ringing around for quotes and Fonemenders in Sandyford said they could fix screen for €120 or replace phone via Apple for €150. Didnt fancy paying €150 so just got it fixed elsewhere.

My friend water damaged his iPhone 3 weeks ago. Went to same place. Chap said he could open the phone for a look (that would cost €30) but couldnt guarantee he could fix it. Said if he could it would be €75-€90. Also offered my friend a replacement phone via Apple for €150. He took him up on the offer and within 24hrs he got a call to say his phone had arrived.

Obviously they take broken phone off you and he said once phone is opened at all you cant avail of this from Apple. Not sure if it applies to all networks. We are both on 3 Network.
