How build Fishing Stand

Hello All I live beside a small lake and was going to build a small stand just for fishing - was thinking about 2 meters by 2 meters. Can anyone advise how to go about this -what time timber/support etc. I tried goggling this but nothing showed up.

I think you have 3 options 1 pile drive stakes out in the water 2 have it floating on barrels or 3 have it counterbalanced so half is on land and half is over the water. Here is a nice one.
