Teaching in Abu Dhabi...will the experience count back home?

Hey, I just got offered teaching secondary with ADEC, and I'm quite tempted to accept. The only thing is, I don't want to come back after a year and find that such experience doesn't compare favourably with teaching in Ireland or the UK. Would anyone in the know be able to advise on th matter? Thanks.

Are you primary or secondary trained here? The INTO has information about teaching abroad for primary teachers so there might be something similar on the secondary school equivalent site e.g. TUI/ASTI
