Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iPod Touch 3rd Gen - Back from the Dead!!! Help needed to diagnose issue!!

    Hey,

    I have a 64gb ipod touch 3rd gen which was water damaged, I brought it to get fixed but they were charging €85 to fix it. I left it and last night decided to plug it in and was surprised to see it took a charge.

    I left it charge over night and this morning I turned it on and the original wallpaper is there, the date is January.

    The problem is when I try to slide to unlock nothing happens. The back button and the power button work fine.

    I want to attempt to fix this myself so my question is if the touch screen isnt working what do I need to replace. I had a look on Syncron but I dont know what to buy??

    Do I need a "iPOD TOUCH 3rd GEN DIGITIZER + HOME BUTTON + FRAME ASSEMBLY" or "iPOD TOUCH 3rd GEN 3G LCD TOUCH SCREEN DIGITIZER GLASS "??

    Any help much appreciated!!
