Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cheap mobile service for light user?

    Hi

I'm at the end of an 18 month contract with my HTC smartphone.

I am an extremely light user of my phone. Sometimes only a few calls per month. I use it mainly for receiving calls when out and about but even that is quite small. I mainly use my wifi for browsing and apps so again data use is extremely limited.

I'm really wondering is there a cheap billpay or prepay service available? One that does not insist on a minimum monthly payment. I don't mind paying a bit extra per call if I didn't have to pay minimum charge. I wouldn't mind a per MB charge for data but I could even live without a data service.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

If you are happy with the phone, I'd switch to one of the pre-pay plans with either meteor or 02. You get free internet with meteor now, depending on how much you top up by per month, or you get 700 mb of free internet with O2 for 9.99 of your credit.
