Those of a certain age ;) will probably remember his regular gig slot in the "Meeting Place"…

Only came across this recently. Not sure if it was mentioned on this forum previously, but IMO he certainly deserves a mention, albeit a bit late, as he passed away in May of this year.

Those of a certain age will probably remember his regular gig slot in the "Meeting Place" on Sunday evenings. He and his band (the late great Jimmy Faulkner played in the band at this time), were a big hit on the blues scene for a long time.

He'll be sadly missed.
