    tbh i have used saffron several times and I found it flavorless. it does add a nice color but i just dont "get" the flavor hence i dont use it :)


    if you want a nice light seafood dish that saffron would be at home in, you could try this Moorish fish stew its really delicious.


    Moorish Fish stew

    2 cloves of garlic
    1 stick cinnanon
    1tsp cumin seed
    1tsp ginger powder
    1tsp paprika
    100gm shallots
    100gm celery
    100gm carrot
    100ml white wine
    600ml fish stock
    150mg tomato
    400gm fish & shellfish
    herbs you have that compliment fish
    2tsp harissa paste

    This was very nice and had a good saffron flavour.
